This week I had a work meeting in Oakland and we decided to make a mini-vacay out of the trip. So after my meeting we saw auntie Megan and Uncle Josh. Unfortunately I forgot my camera on this trip! But, once we got to Marin, Liz was kind enough to let us borrow hers :) Grandma and Grandpa got Mollie this cool easel. She LOVES it. She's been spending most of her time here painting and swimming in the awesome kiddie pool they also got for her on the sun deck at Liz and David's house.
She's also been teaching her great grandparents how to draw and paint on the easel.
After a morning of sunning on the deck, we drove back over to Oakland for Caitlin's first birthday. She got lots and lots of amazing gifts and yet was most interested in playing with my cell phone - of course. Her mommy and daddy threw a beautiful party and we had a great time catching up with our friends.

After the party we stopped by to visit our friends Jen, Dave and Madison. The girls had a great time snatching toys from one another...in a loving way, of course.

After our visit we headed over to San Anselmo for a pasta dinner. Mollie totally destroyed the new dress Great Grandma Naomi got her, but she had a great time doing it so no one really even noticed :)
After dinner we practiced throwing pennies in a fountain and making wishes. And then did some dancing!

And one of Mollie snoozin' at the ceremony. She fell asleep in the cab on the way over and stayed asleep for about the first half of the wedding. I don't think her grandpa minded much :)

On Sunday and Monday we took Mollie to the pool. She absolutely loves the water - splashing, swimming...
...drinking. 
Monday we went to Mohican with Nana, Pop-pop, and great grandpoppy. I didn't get a lot of pictures but did get this cute one of the post-swim goldfish snack.
