Also note her brand new Bulldog sweater in honor of Mac, who had to miss the holiday parties because he scares small children (well, he scares Mollie).
Also, don't mind my outfit. It is a McDermott holiday tradition that you must immediately put on all holiday gifts, even if said gift is a suit jacket. The suit jacket with black leggings is a look I plan to bring to Capitol Hill in 2012.

Getting in the Holiday Spirit
This weekend, Mollie, Uncle Barty and I went to Georgetown Cupcakes holiday decorating event. Mollie had a good time, mostly eating icing, and a little bit doing the decorating. Here she is with her big pink GC box.
When we were all done she insisted on carrying the bag.

After cupcakes we went down to the Georgetown waterfront to look at ducks.
Then Mollie did some running around in the newly built waterfront area.
And this week, Mollie and Kirsten decorated this gingerbread man. Pretty fun!

Auntie Dee Dee and Uncle Jean-Bernard Get Hitched
These pictures are LOOONG overdue from Auntie Dee Dee's wedding this summer. Here's Mollie in her role as flower girl, with cousin Aliza. Mollie did a great job of making it all the way down the aisle. And don't they look so precious in their matching pink dresses hand crafted by Grandma Liz?!

Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween! Auntie Margie came over and helped Mollie carve her pumpkin and then cook the seeds. We had a great time and Mollie was pretty pleased with the end result.

Auntie Sissy and her friend, Michelle, came to DC Halloween weekend for the Marine Corps Marathon (Michelle ran in it and did an amazing job!) Here they are the night before the marathon breaking a wishbone. Mollie was the winner, we know she had an amazing wish.
The next morning we went to Yael's first birthday party.
They had Georgetown Cupcakes - they are the best cupcakes, ask anyone - especially Mollie or Daniel.
Then Mollie spent some time chasing the squirrels.
Then we made a quick stop by our neighborhood Halloween gathering. Mollie especially liked hanging out in the fire truck.
And hanging with Auntie Sissy, who made sure she had candy in her cup.

Mollie fish!
That night we had dinner at Nana and Pop-Pops. They got Mollie these cool lights to use for trick or treating.
Or sword fighting.
We also had LOTS of candy corn! On actual Halloween I had to go to Los Angeles so Mollie spent the night at Nana and Pop-pops. So more trick or treating pics to come when I get their photos.
