Happy weekend!

We had a wonderful Sunday.  First, "my Marge" came over and we went for a long walk and then picked out paints to paint the chairs Uncle Sammy gave Mollie for her birthday.  The weather was perfect.

It begins...

Showing off her cheese.

The finished product (and a new clean outfit - thanks, Margie!)

Not too happy about being done with the painting project.

Then we went to see our friends Silas, Matt, Taylor and their new baby, Asa.  Mollie and Silas got along fantastically (I think she has a little crush - following him and imitating every thing he did - so cute!)  Here they are chasing bubbles.

Lots of running and jumping.
More bubbles!
Time for a little rest.  We had a great time and can't wait for our next playdate!

Visiting Friends

Two weekends ago we drove up to Philly to visit our good friends who moved there a few months ago.  Big thanks to Nana who made the drive with me and Molls, we could not have done it without her.  Mollie was a dream in the car - just playing and singing the whole way there (again thanks to Nana).  Mollie was super excited to see her friend Quinn - they've really missed each other.  And I was obviously really excited to see Quinn's mommy :)
Since they moved, the O'Regan's also gained a new addition - Oliver.  He is super adorable, looks just like Quinn as a baby.  So cute!
We got some delicious Philly sandwiches.  The kids ate and played, it was really fun.
Then we headed over the Please Touch museum - which was the highlight of the afternoon for Mollie and Quinn.  They took turns driving trains, cars, a bus.  They even went grocery shopping and played with a fake x-ray machine in an exhibit donated by the philadelphia children's hospital.
These pictures of us on the carosel didn't turn out great, but I thought I'd post them anyway.

By coincidence, we kept running into friends.  First my co-worker Jamie and her family, then Mollie and Quinn's day care classmate, Annie.
Enough playtime - back to work
Friends!  We can't wait to go back and visit again!

Easter 2012

Sorry for the long lag between posts.  In my absence, the blog site we use has changed its format, so let's see how this goes!
Here are some pics from Mollie's Easter celebration.  Nana and Papa made an easter egg hunt in their back yard.

Uncle Barty had to count them to make sure we found them all (so Mac didn't find it any and eat them).
Now getting down to business - getting the candy from inside.  Turns out Mollie hates jelly beans.  But not to worry, she LOVES chocolate.

Lots and lots of eggs.

"Mama, how 'bout more chocolate?"

Auntie DeeDee Visit!

Auntie DeeDee came to visit this weekend on her way back from Paris. Dee and Margie picked Mollie up from school early to enjoy the spring weather and catch up on their reading.Saturday we all spent the day out on the town - too bad it was so rainy!
But we made the best of it!
Do these girls look like family, or what?!

Some Cali Pics

A few California pics. We visited our friend Riley, who also just turned two. The girls enjoyed eating bagels with cream cheese and sharing some laughs.
And then taking a ride around the block.

Mollie went with Grandma Liz and Great Grandpa Earl to the community garden in Marin. Mollie loved it!

Some reading time with Great Grandpa Earl.

Piano time with Grandpa David.

Nap time with Mama. Lots more pics to come.

Family Visit

We had a really fun weekend with Great Uncle Sam, Auntie Mimi, and Cousin Ellie. We have more pictures coming, but here are a few to start.
Great Uncle Sam brought Mollie a Thomas the Train figure 8 set. Mollie is OBSESSED with it. Including, especially, the Molly yellow Thomas Train.
We had lots of fun seeing the sights in DC but the most fun at the Building Museum in Chinatown where there was an airplane show. And some stretching :)

After a long day Auntie Mimi was ready for a nap - too bad we couldn't say the same for Mollie :)
