Silly Mollie

We made a quick stop at CVS to pick up a few things, including stickers. I turned around at a red light and... And Pop-Pop showed her how to make her bull ring out of this teething toy. It goes perfectly with their favorite chant. ;)

Monkey hat

We've had a lot going on and so have not done a proper update to Good Gollie, but wanted to quickly post this pic of Molls in the sock monkey hat.

Labor Day Weekend!

We had a really great visit with Poppy for Labor Day weekend. We got Mollie an aqua doodle for the car ride on the advice of friends and it worked like a dream. When we got there, Mollie taught Poppy how to use an iPad. Then Poppy took us out for a lobster feast. It was delicious (Mollie had grilled cheese). Here we are post-feast.
Poppy got some special treats for Mollie, including a new stuffed bear and some ice cream with chocolate sauce. That was a big hit.
They also got some quality snuggling time in. Very sweet!
Sunday we enjoyed our last summer swim at Mohican and then had Mexican food at Cactus Cantina with Rina and Liam and their parents. I took some really cute pics of the kids swimming but my camera seems to have eaten them. So here's one of the girls snacking at dinner.

18 months - and all grown up :)

Just some random catch up pictures from the past month.
Margie, Claire, Mollie and I had a ladies night dinner at Lauriol Plaza. Mollie wore her tutu - she wouldn't want to be under-dressed.

Helping me shop.
Enjoying some starbucks (it's just water but she loves that green straw).
I'm not sure when or where this was taken...

Devorah's rehearsal

Ok - so about a month ago, Mollie's Great Uncle Sam kindly made me a flash drive with all of his gorgeous photos from Devorah's wedding rehearsal. I finall got around to uploading it on my computer and here they are! Thanks to Sam for some really fantastic shots here. (For those of you also on Facebook, many of these may be repeats).
The lovely ladies preparing for the rehearsal - Mollie's cousin, Aliza and Aunts Margie (or Mah-Gee) and Mimi.

Mollie, Auntie Margie and Cailin preparing for the big event. To me, Margie and Mollie really have a family resemblance in this picture.

Here they are practicing for the big event. Aliza is a professional flower girl, having performed this important duty and my and Louie's wedding too. So she was an excellent mentor for Mollie in the proper pace of walking and flower throwing. Margie and the rest of us, on the other hand, were scolded for not taking our duties seriously enough. Ooopy.

Mollie made the mistake of wearing Andrew's Dodgers hat for part of the time. As soon as Louie realized what was going on he made the switch.

The second practice run.

After the lunch, Grandma Liz and Grandpa David/Ahmed hosted a lovely brunch. Mollie probably thought the whole wedding and rehearsal were for her because her great Aunts and Uncles showered her with tons of gifts, including stickers, her favorite.

We also had some time to catch up with family members we don't see nearly often enough - like Cousin Jesse!

We're working with Mollie on getting used to dogs but she's still not loving them. I believe this is a picture of her waving bye bye to Pushkin, Auntie Mimi's pup. Their relationship really improved by the end of the trip.

Playing with cousin Aliza.
