Yoga with Pop-pop

Louie was in California this weekend so Mollie and I went to Nah and Pop-pop's house for a long weekend. Mollie had the best time eating tons of delicious food and learning yoga. Check our her up dog, down dog, tree pose, sleeping baby, and airplane!

Key West, New Year, Papa turns 60!

For New Year's and my dad's 60th, we headed to Key West, dad's birthplace. Everyone had an amazing time on the trip - it was so relaxing, great weather, tons to do. But Mollie and Papa probably had the best time of all. The first day we went over to the Casa Marina hotel to play on the beach and hang out. If you're looking for the perfect vacation getaway, I highly recommend it!
Mollie decided that most of Key West was a no-clothes zone so although she would occasionally wear a swim suit, this was mostly her outfit of choice.
So, one of the finer things about the Casa Marina beach is that the staff is incredibly service oriented. So, in the middle of they day they brought around popsicles for the kids and drinks for the grown ups (key lime pina colada anyone?)

We also spent plenty of time at the pool at Nana and Papa's condo.

Mollie's right at home in the water - just like Auntie Sissy.
On New Year's eve we had dinner at Louie's Backyard. It was so delicious and we had a celebratory birthday cake for Dad's b-day.

Louie took Mollie back to our beach house long before midnight, but here are the rest of us watching Sushi drop in the big red shoe.
The next day, the men went fishing and the girls had a shopping and lunch on the beach day.
Then, for Papa's birthday, the main event, we went on a Duval Bar Crawl. Nana had matching shirts made (well, Mollie's had fish on it but everyone else had a Mike's 60th Duval Crawl shirt).
There were cards, and presents...
And drinks and snacks...
And lots and lots of merriment
I'm including this next picture for Mollie's benefit. There are roosters and chickens all over Key West - the Key West version of a squirrel. She loved them, from a distance.
A family pic on our last day.
And last but certainly not least - key lime pie. The very best. From Blue Heaven.

Happy Holidays and Happy Birthday Daddy!

We had a number of Chanukah and Christmas celebrations - here are some highlights.
Papa and Mollie cooking potato latkes.
Uncle Barty teaching Mollie to yo-yo with a light up, singing yo-yo.
Candle lighting.
Mollie's working on her fear of dogs. Zoe was a big help with this because Zoe doesn't mind being pulled, prodded or generally harassed by toddlers.
So brave! Although I'm not sure who gets credit for bravery in this photo - Mollie or Zoe.
We celebrated Louie's birthday with a dinner with a chocolate cake. Mollie helped blow out the candles.
For our Christmas craft, Mollie decorated another gingerbread man.
So pretty!
More Chanukah candle lighting.
And more decorating...
Papa got a dog calendar full of French Bulldogs, just like Mac :)
For Christmas craft #2, we attempted to make cake pops. It was not very successful. Turns out you kind of need to follow the directions...whatever!
Uncle Sammy joined us for dinner on Christmas eve.
Uncle Barty didn't care that the cake pops were not successful because they still tasted good...
Mollie on Christmas morning. Eating the first of MANY candy canes.
More candy cane amidst the Christmas morning destruction.
Tom and Debbie and their boys came over for a visit. Tom helped Mollie with her Christmas manicure.
All tuckered out from their big day? Nope. Mollie jumped up one minute after this photo was taken :)

More pics from Mollie's first ride on Papa's boat

A few more from the boat ride. Mollie's favorite part was being wrapped in this towel and eating animal crackers. Pretty blue ocean. We saw dolphins jumping, which I tried to photograph but I wasn't quick enough.

Mollie the co-captain

Mollie and Cailin are having a great time in Key West. Many more pics to come, but here she is helping Papa drive the boat.

Medvene-Collins Holiday Dinner

Last night we had dinner at Guapos (a family fave) with the Medvene-Collins fam. Mollie got some really cool new books.

The rest of us had delicious guacamole and margaritas :)

Here's our little ham pretending to sleep so she didn't have to have her photo taken.
