More birthday pics
Nana is trying to plant the seeds early that Mollie follow in her footsteps as a musician. So, Nana and Papa got her this baby piano. She is obsessed with it and bangs out A-B-C's and twinkle twinkle little star at every opportunity (the piano is living with Nana and Papa as a result).

And Grandma Liz and Grandpa David sent this adorable pink tutu. Mollie likes to put it on for spinning:
Family dinner at Guapos
Well, it wouldn't be a proper celebration without dinner at Guapos. So after Gymboree, we headed down the street for dinner. Mollie enjoyed running around, watching the tortilla machine, greeting people at the door, and some fried ice cream. She's a professional at blowing out birthday candles now, too.
Mollie turns two!
Mollie had an amazing second birthday party at Gymboree! I temporarily lost my camera (not to worry, I found it again) so these pics came from a number of different iPhones and are some what out of order, but enjoy them nonetheless!
Birthday cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcake, yum!
Hmmm...I think she likes Gymboree...

Fun with friends
Mollie's latest favorite trick is to kick me out of my spot on the big couch and making me sit in her little purple chair. It's pretty funny.
Mollie's Auntie Mimi sent us a bunch of toys, including this girl doll. Mollie's a big fan and these two have been having all sorts of fun together.

Mollie's friend Riley came to visit all the way from California. The two were pretty busy so I couldn't get a good picture of their faces, but here they are coloring together.
Margie and I have been doing a cooking experiment every week. While we slave away in the kitchen, Dandrew rides makes Mollie push him around on her pink trike...
Well, she makes him do some work too :)
Last weekend we took Mollie to the aquarium in Baltimore. She LOVED it.
We forgot a sippy cup but she needed her milk - we found a substitute cup and I was pretty proud of my discovery :)

Key West, New Year, Papa turns 60!
For New Year's and my dad's 60th, we headed to Key West, dad's birthplace. Everyone had an amazing time on the trip - it was so relaxing, great weather, tons to do. But Mollie and Papa probably had the best time of all. The first day we went over to the Casa Marina hotel to play on the beach and hang out. If you're looking for the perfect vacation getaway, I highly recommend it!
Mollie decided that most of Key West was a no-clothes zone so although she would occasionally wear a swim suit, this was mostly her outfit of choice.
So, one of the finer things about the Casa Marina beach is that the staff is incredibly service oriented. So, in the middle of they day they brought around popsicles for the kids and drinks for the grown ups (key lime pina colada anyone?)
We also spent plenty of time at the pool at Nana and Papa's condo.

On New Year's eve we had dinner at Louie's Backyard. It was so delicious and we had a celebratory birthday cake for Dad's b-day.
The next day, the men went fishing and the girls had a shopping and lunch on the beach day.
I'm including this next picture for Mollie's benefit. There are roosters and chickens all over Key West - the Key West version of a squirrel. She loved them, from a distance.
And last but certainly not least - key lime pie. The very best. From Blue Heaven.
