Summer 2012 California trip

We just got back from a visit to California.  Mollie had a great time with her whole family, including drawing on the deck of Grandma Lizzie, Grandpa David, and Grandpa Earl's house.

 Grandma Lizzie also started a community garden not far from her house.  There's lots of fun stuff to do there, like chasing lizards, picking and eating vegetables, picking flowers, and so on.

 Mollie especially liked picking and eating peas.

 Mollie also tends to bring out the silly side of her family members, like Uncle Sam.  [Lots more pictures of the fan with Mollie to come as soon as I get my flash drive from Sam...hint, hint]

 We also went to Sonoma to Train Town.  Highly recommend this if you're in California with kids are interested in wineries and kid-friendly fun.  Right down the street from downtown Sonoma, Train Town has a bunch of fun rides and a train to a petting zoo.  We had a great time with our friend Madison and her parents (if only I could combine the two pics below, I'd have one with both girls looking at the camera) and our friends Riley and Mia and their parents.

First Hair Cut

Before we left for California, we had a delicious dinner at Uncle Sammy's house.  Auntie Sanam was nice enough to give Mollie her first hair cut ( and Louie was brave enough to let it happen, finally).  Doesn't she look beautiful??

Puppet Show

This weekend we decided to check out the puppet show at Glen Echo Park.  It was really fun - we saw the Penguin show (no pics during the show so we only have this one shot of the empty screen).

 Louie was at a concert over the weekend so we stayed at Nana and Papa's.  We had lots of fun playing with Macky, watching movies, hanging out.

 Mollie and Papa invented some new games - chase the baby, rock and roll Macky, and some others.  I'm not sure Mac will ever recover.

The beautiful bride and groom!  One of the lovelier weddings I've been to - Marie and Bob got hitched!  We had a wonderful time - especially seeing cousin Marie so happy!  

 Mollie was being a little shy, but she had a great time (especially eating all the delicious wedding snacks)

New York Trip

Last weekend we went to New York for my cousin Marie's wedding.  Here are some pictures from the dinner we had after the wedding.  Mollie testing out Nana's glasses.
