This weekend we went to the pumpkin patch with Yael and her parents and Auntie Margie and Andrew. Here are the girls playing in the corn kernel box - kind of like a sandbox full of corn.

Finally, we got down to business picking out a pumpkin. Mollie inspected lots of pumpkins before making her final selection.
We ended up getting this little one and a bigger one for carving. More pictures of that to come.
This weekend was also Boo at the Zoo at the National Zoo. We met up with a bunch of friends and ran through the zoo collecting candy from the various booths. We even saw a few animals along the way. And no - Louie still won't let me cut that tail. And I'm not talking about the zebra.

We ran into Eeyore, I mean, Quinn. The kids were really happy to see each other, it was so cute! 
Then we discovered the giant pizza at the far end of the zoo. I've known about this for quite some time but had never actually seen it with my own eyes. It's very cool, a giant, squishy, climbable pizza. There's even a vat of sauce that you can stir. Here's little tutu-tushie in the giant olive.

And don't worry - we gave her chocolate in addition to that apple shown above. And here's the proof:
